Aer Lifetime Warranty

Aer guarantees the quality and performance for the practical lifetime of our products. For evaluation, please contact us at support@aersf.com. We will provide you with a warranty claim form and the necessary information on how to send your product to us.

Products are warranted to the original owner against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the practical lifetime of the product. If a product covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair the product, without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. If the product is exchanged, the replacement product becomes your property and the product returned becomes Aer's property. Only original, unaltered and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by this policy. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use.

This warranty is available for products purchased on www.aersf.com or with proof of purchase from an authorized reseller.

FAQ

What does "practical lifetime of the product" mean?

We build our products to last over extended periods of use, but nothing lasts indefinitely. Materials will deteriorate and fade over time and moving parts will wear out. We will cover your product under our warranty policy until such a time that we have deemed the product to be worn out beyond reasonable repair. If the product is showing the signs of its age—for instance, the material has become thin or faded, there are rips and tears, the zippers no longer catch—we will take this into consideration when assessing your product for a warranty request. All bags will suffer from differing degrees of wear-and-tear, depending upon the user. Use your judgment when assessing whether your product is likely to be covered under our warranty policy. It may simply be time to replace your product, and we hope that Aer will have the opportunity to provide you with superior quality products and service in the future.

What is and isn't covered under the warranty policy?

Aer’s warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship that causes functional failure for the practical lifetime of the product, but it does not cover normal wear and tear. Material refers to zippers, buckles and fabrics. Workmanship refers to seams, seam tape and construction. Wear and tear is damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal use. Regardless of how carefully you use, or how well you care for your Aer product, it will eventually begin to show age and wear. Common examples of wear and tear that would not be covered under the lifetime warranty include colors fading, rips, tears, abrasion, UV degradation, misuse, and general breakdown of the materials over the years.
